BRIE CASTLE AND THE SMALL WORLD OF AUTOMATONS
Built at the end of the th century to celebrate a prestigious marriage between the Brie and the Hautfort, the castle is a strong house in flamboyant Gothic style (Renaissance beginning) which was the property of the Mirabeau family in the th century. In the square tower, a beautiful staircase of granite granite fulfilling in a palm vault leads to furnished pieces of family furniture of different styles (Renaissance, Empire, Restoration). A small dérobé staircase leads to the «room of pucelles», offering a breathtaking view of the park and surrounding area. In one of the castle's dependencies, the "small automates world" presents some sixty animated and costumed characters that bring visitors to a world of music. In the heart of the flowered park, the medieval barn was a military refuge, an indoor round path allowed access to the gués and the two turrets to observe the attacker.
