With a surface area of 410 ha, the lake of Neuvic is fed by the stream of the same name which has its source on the plateau of Millevaches. The development of the lake, following the construction of the upstream dam, was the work of Henri Queuille, a politician who was several times President of the Board. The site has been awarded the "Blue Flag" and "Handiplage" labels. Numerous aquatic activities (sailing, water skiing, and outdoor activities, golf, children's games) are practiced there. Without forgetting fishing. Swimming is supervised in summer. The sailing school is open every day in July and August, it offers courses and equipment hire: optimist, canoe, windsurfing, catamaran, dinghy.
