Monumental Way of the Cross in Verdelais, dotted with 14 neo-Gothic chapels and listed as a Monument Historique in 2010
In the mid-19th century, a monumental Way of the Cross was laid out between the communal cemetery, the Saint-Agonie chapel and the Cussol hill. Erected between 1855 and 1868, the route is punctuated by fourteen neo-Gothic chapels representing the Stations of the Cross, depicting scenes from the Passion of Christ. The procession ends at the Chapel of the Holy Sepulchre. The site was registered as a historic monument in 2010.
