Gothic style church housing the tomb of Bertrand de Goth, open all year round for free or guided tours.

The church existed before Bertrand de Goth became the first pope of Avignon in 1305, but he chose at the time to enlarge it and make it his eternal resting place. The Collegiate Church is indeed his burial place, even if his recumbent was hammered and his tomb looted by the Huguenots. This very beautiful building of Gothic architecture is classified as a historical monument. It is a place full of history to discover with your family, on a free or guided tour.

La collégiale Notre Dame D'Uzeste est une église de style Gothique. Dans ce lieu est conservé le tombeau du Pape Clément V. C'est un lieu à visité en passant dans le charmant petit village d'Uzeste.
