Collonges-la-Rouge, a charming village rich in history, architecture and gastronomy.
Why "Collonges-la-Rouge"? Go and see for yourself, and you will understand... The birthplace of the association of the most beautiful villages in France, the village boasts a rich historical, architectural and gastronomic heritage; it is also one of the most visited sites in the Limousin. Although a precise walking itinerary is available at the Tourist Office, we would be tempted to let you discover the village on your own, strolling through its streets, alleys and squares as you please. It takes about two hours to walk around the village.

Joli cité qui vaut le détour. Dommage que le parking soit payant (forfait de 4 euros), un peu élevé quand on fait juste le tour du village.

Magnifique et atypique petit village qu'il ne faut pas manquer en passant dans la région.

Collonges-la-Rouge est une ville atypique, avec ses maisons construites en pierre rouge. Le village a fondé l'association des plus beaux villages de France et la balade est agréable, même si on retrouve beaucoup de commerces et que le village est assez petit.

Le premier village classé plus beau village de France dont la corréze en compte cinq. La visite à pied s'effectue en deux heures ,de très jolies pierres en grés rouges .
