Château Filhot was created in 1709 by Romain de Filhot on an estate of 350 hectares, of which 62 are dedicated to the vine on the southern slope of the Sauternes hill. After a fermentation of 10 days to 1 month in stainless steel tanks, the wine - Semillon 60%, Sauvignon 36% and Muscadelle 4% -, is aged in oak barrels during nearly 20 months to bring it all the necessary maturity. With a beautiful constitution, the wine of Château Filhot is distinguished by its freshness, the finesse of its liquor, its mineral character and the elegance of its balance.

Opening time and information on CHÂTEAU FILHOT

Visits from Monday to Friday from 9am to 12pm and from 2pm to 5pm; by appointment on weekends. Animations. Baroque concert : June 30. Open house : 11/12/13 November. Event "La Raisin d'Or" : November 12/13.

Du lundi au vendredi, vous pouvez traverser le parc et passer devant le château. Le chai se situe à 500m à l'ouest du château.
