The Duchy, located in the heart of Uzès, is an imposing structure.
The Duchy, located in the heart of Uzès, is an imposing construction whose military origins appear with the Bermonde Tower, a 12th century keep, its ramparts and corner towers. The remarkable Renaissance facade is a real architectural jewel of the 16th century. The guided tour will lead you to the almost millennia-old cellars, as well as to the intimacy of the apartments, furnished and still inhabited by the ducal family. Une visite guidée largement à la hauteur des informations formulées par le guide, qui est d ailleurs très accueillant , professionnel, et souriant !!! N hésitez plus! Un château magnifique, une vue exceptionnelle, les escaliers du donjon rappellent la vie d antan...merveilleux...le prix en vaux la chandelle...malgré l avis de certains radins...???????????? Bravo continuez comme ça ! ????

Très beau monument à regarder sous toutes les coûtures. On ne s'en lasse pas. Je ne peut rien dire de l'intérieur car je ne l'ai pas visité mais de l'extérieur, il vaut déjà le détour. C'est encore mieux de le connaître en cherchant son histoire.

Un beau château meublé en plein centre de la ville. La visite est un peu chère mais intéressante. Un des points forts de l'édifice est sa toiture sur laquelle figure le blason du duché.

Beau duché à visiter si l'on passe par Uzès. Situé en plein centre ville on ne peut pas le louper au détour d'une rue piétonne.
