Restaurant with terrace offering a beautiful view, where the chef concocts creative and refined dishes with local products
After sumptuous renovations, La Maison d'Estournel has given itself a decor that lives up to its reputation, inspired by the colors of the Médoc landscape. Blue velvet seats, antiques and furniture found in the region, subdued lighting... Discreet luxury is combined with a relaxed and informal service. In the kitchen, the chef signs creative and refined dishes, sublimating local products. And if the weather is fine, you can sit on the terrace with a view of the park surrounded by hills and vineyards. An excellent table that delights the taste buds and the eyes!

Really wanted to love this place - big fan of reybier and la reserve - etc. but it just is a let down if you’re expecting a luxury property.
Starting with arrival - was left to lug my own bags through gravel and the parking lot - felt practically unwelcome and thought I was in the wrong place. They need to completely overhaul their welcome experience and arrival area.
New Pool is gorgeous, rooms are well appointed, but this isn’t a luxury hotel.
Also one night they allowed a wedding party not staying at the property to have raucous drinks disturbing everyone staying at the hotel who was eating dinner - bizarre priorities.

Tout y est parfait, le souci du détail dans les chambres, la paix du lieu, la sublime piscine, le parc, la décoration, le restaurant ...nous avons adoré notre séjour.

Beautiful hotel and restaurant. Excellent, wonderful wine. The food was delicious and well executed but the menu was not as imaginative as I had hoped.
