In 1904, Mr Chaumet-Tapon's wines won the grand prix in Saint-Louis. The vines, cultivated according to traditional methods, are located in Saint-Emilion. A superb black robe, dark in depth and purple on the surface, dresses this bottle with an expressive bouquet that combines red fruits and spices with an elegant toasted and fresh woody flavour.

The 15 hectares of vineyards are treated without insecticides, vine population is from 65% merlot and 35% franc cabernet. The stainless vats mix with the older vats made of cement and wood. 80,000 bottles are produced here every year. Their cellar, sober and classy, beautifully enhance their wines. La Cave Dourthe is perfect for all those who are interested in wine, in order to share a common passion. The cellar has a private tasting room in its floors.
