An original tour of the city and the cellars 20 meters underground in the Cordeliers galleries by electric tuk-tuk.
Classified as a historic monument and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Cordeliers cloister dates back to the 14th century. At that time, Les Cordeliers, who were already cultivating vines, occupied the site until the French Revolution. At the end of the 19th century, the basements were converted into wine storehouses and cellars. After a guided tour of the cloister, gardens and cellars 20 meters below ground, you'll discover and appreciate the traditional method of producing sparkling wines. The tuk-tuk tour includes a visit to the Saint-Emilion vineyards.

Open all year round, every day. Traditional tour from €15 (free for children under 10); Tuk-tuk tour: €30. Store open from 11 am to 7 pm in high season and from 10:30 am to 6 pm in low season. Bar and restaurant. Musical evenings on Fridays from May to August.

The 14th century cloister of the Cordeliers, an architectural masterpiece located in the heart of
Saint-Emilion, is classified Historic Monument and registered with the village of Saint
Emilion to the world heritage of UNESCO. Sparkling wines are elaborated there
since 1892 according to the traditional method, in the three kilometers of
underground galleries.

Notre guide était toppissime : très sympathique et avec une grande maîtrise de son sujet et de son bolide.

Nous avons réalisé une première visite (il y a 3 semaines) avec mes parents, une guide incroyable qui nous a transmis toute l'histoire du domaine avec des petites anecdotes qui rendaient la visite magique!!!
Nous y sommes retournés aujourd'hui avec ma belle famille et j'ai été déçue de la visite... Beaucoup moins d'informations de la part de la guide, aucune anecdote... une dégustation de 3 Crémants au lieu de 4 lors de la première visite.
Quand on fait la visite une fois on ne peut pas s'en rendre compte. Mais voir une telle différence entre les guides c'est vraiment dommage
