CHATEAU LES CHARMES GODARD
Domain
Recommended
Rather famous for its châteaux Pavie-Macquin in Saint-Emilion and Certan in Pomerol, the Thienpont family was a "pioneer" in the Côtes de Francs since the day after the Second World War. Between Château Puygueraud, its leading figure, and the "recent" Château La Prade, Nicolas Thienpont and his brothers acquired a 6.5 hectare property, "Les Charmes Godard", in 1988. This estate produces a red wine, a dry white wine and a sweet cuvée called Aurea.
