CHÂTEAU SAINT-CHRISTOLY
Read moreCathy takes over from 7 generations of winegrowers on this estate created in 1850 by a village blacksmith. Passionate and determined, she strives to give her wine a feminine and very personal touch (it is the only vat room in the region painted in pink!). The meticulous work in the vineyard and in the cellar allows, vintage after vintage, to express magnificently the flavors and the values of this exceptional terroir. In the heart of the property, the château has opened its own guest rooms for 2 to 4 people and a loft "Chai Paulette" for 6 to 10 people.
CHÂTEAU TOUR CASTILLON
Read moreAll year round, the Peyruse family organizes guided tours and walks through the vineyards, followed by a tasting and a Médoc-style snack, as well as "apéros estuaire". Visitors learn about the different AOCs, the stages in the vine cycle, and the manual and mechanical tasks of the winegrower. On the banks of the estuary, the tour continues with a visit to the carrelets de pêche and the tonnes à canards. Participants are then invited into the pink-and-gray winery, where two seven-hectoliter amphorae take pride of place. A warm welcome and a bucolic setting.
