Le Comptoir des Matins Bleus is Sandrine Béliveau's declaration of love for her terroir. In her small grocery store, she shares her passion for good products from here and elsewhere: vinegars from Laguinelle, peppers and spices from around the world, Greek feta, exceptional small goats' cheeses, Iberian ham, wines and beers from the region, organic coffees, teas and herbal teas, surprising syrups... An address that hides a multitude of little nuggets of all kinds

For over 50 years, this production site has retained all its typical character, with its barracks in a row. The one at Allary Fils, with its new terrace overlooking the channel, is a family affair: the grandfather passed on his love of the trade to his grandchildren! Stop in to taste the famous "Allary oyster", a hollow oyster with fine flesh and a nutty taste, or the "Caramoun©", fine, long in the mouth and much crunchier, a regular gold medallist at the Salon de l'Agriculture. A must for real oyster lovers.

Cartouche is the new meeting place for eco-curious epicureans in Leucate. After serving as perfect ambassadors for Languedoc wines and beyond in Brussels, Paris and Toulouse, they're back home again! Arnaud Granel and Jean-Baptiste Bru propose a concept combining good wines, often organic and natural, from the region and around the world, nibbles (on the premises or to take away) and local crafts: Poteries Not and Couteaux du Zouave. A pleasant, modern setting for discovering wines that may be unconventional, but that open the door to conversation

After having created a pastry shop of great reputation in Paris, Armand and Nina went down to the region where the latter lived. It is through a magnificent patio that one reaches "gourmandises", a 100% artisanal pastry shop and its tempting windows. Armand, the Chef, accompanied by a pastry chef and a lathe maker, create beautiful and tasty cakes and high quality pastries made from French products, PDO butter and local seasonal fruits. Savouries (focaccia, original pizzas) and organic gourmet French groceries complete the picture.

The cooperative has 130 members and a vineyard of 1100 ha. Its modern winery produces H.V.E-certified AOP Fitou, Corbières, Muscat de Rivesaltes, Rivesaltes and vins de pays. Thanks to its seaside vineyards on sun-drenched hillsides, the Leucat terroir produces wines that combine tradition and modernity. Don't hesitate to discover their different vintages and local products over a tasting session in one of their cellars in Leucate Village and Port Leucate, or during events if you come across their Wine-Truck

Chez Cul d'Oursin is one of the great references of the oyster port! Here, we work as a family and the atmosphere is good, even very good. You quickly get the impression of being part of the family. We owe this lively atmosphere to the Guinot family. For them, oysters are a family affair going back four generations. Yohann is the great-grandson of an oyster farmer from the Arcachon Basin, and he's constantly dreaming up ways to improve the quality of his oysters. Beautiful, fleshy and above all tasty, they can be enjoyed on site or at home.

In the heart of the pond, the shellfish farming area has existed since the early 1960s. Eighty percent of the shellfish is sold directly in the Grau de l'étang and in the surrounding villages. The Leucate oyster, the very famous "Cap Leucate", is an oyster with recognized virtues: it is very hollow and its flesh is very firm with a pronounced taste of hazelnut. But the oyster is not the only star of the pond, also rich in clams, mussels and other shellfish!

L'Hippocampe, is a completely renovated oyster farmhouse that looks great with its wooden facade, the interior room and a pretty terrace overlooking the channel. Here you will be served oysters accompanied, if you wish, by mussels, clams and a glass of white (or rosé) Leucate. Lovers will revel in the Petula Spectacular, an oyster (no. 0) of extraordinary dimensions that has spent no less than 4 years at sea. A very pleasant address held by a team that is just as pleasant, where you can enjoy the sunny and sheltered terrace.
