Located in the historic Grande Écurie du Roi, opposite the Château de Versailles, the Archives Communales are a veritable treasure trove of living memory. They contain over 3,200 linear meters of documents, ranging from parish and civil registers to iconographic archives, town planning files and local press. These archives cover a period stretching from the 16th century to the present day. Rather than keeping these treasures in the shadows, the Archives regularly organize thematic exhibitions, enabling you to discover the fascinating history and heritage of the Royal City.
