Rocks well known to hikers, located on the GR1. An excellent hiking destination and a fascinating landscape.

Well-known to hikers, the Rochers d'Angennes on the GR1 provide a fine target for a stroll, as well as a fascinating landscape in the style of that seen around Fontainebleau or, closer to home, Les Vaux-de-Cernay. This rocky chaos is made up of large, partly fractured sandstone slabs resting on sandy soil. A hiking trail takes you along one of the loops in the forest around Poigny. These rocks bear the name of an illustrious Poigny-la-Forêt family.
