A museum that revives the memory of the famous Seine-side guinguette "La Grenouillère", in the Maison Joséphine in Croissy.
Located at the heart of the Espace Chanorier, the Musée de la Grenouillère revives the memory of the famous guinguette on the banks of the Seine. During the Belle Époque of the late 19th century, Parisians used to come here to relax. It was frequented by Guy de Maupassant, and the Impressionist painters Renoir and Monet found their first inspiration in this now mythical spot. The Musée de la Grenouillère opened in May 1998, thanks to the "Friends of the Grenouillère" association. Temporary exhibitions on Impressionism.
