LOCAL HISTORY PAVILION
Museum in the former outbuildings of the castle, inaugurated in May 2008, which presents the history of Croissy.
Inaugurated in May 2008, this small museum housed in the former château outbuildings presents the history of Croissy. You'll start by exploring three rooms dedicated to "Croissy au fil du temps", a space devoted to the history of the seigneury and the commune, the town's name and coat of arms, major events, buildings and famous Croissy figures. You'll then move on to three rooms dedicated to "Croissy la maraîchère", a reminder of the days when the commune was known as the "Queen of the Halles de Paris", offering famous pot-au-feu vegetables. There's also a display of old market gardening equipment and tools, as well as the fire department's hand pump. In short, the whole of the local heritage presented by the association La Mémoire de Croissy. The association also offers packages for groups, combining a visit to the pavilion with a walking tour of the town's key monuments.
