Charming guest rooms on the edge of a forest, on a property with a stream running through it. Evening seminars and table d'hôtes.

Set between a pond and a forest, these charming guest rooms are housed in a farmhouse that once belonged to the Notre-Dame de Clairefontaine abbey. The Moulin, which gives its name to the place, was still active in the last century, fed by the Rabette river which runs through the property. Here you'll find 5 tastefully decorated bedrooms with queen-size beds. A seminar room is also available. Finally, you can dine at the table d'hôtes, on reservation, and enjoy home cooking or opt for a catered platter.

Très bel endroit, calme et paisible, accueil remarquable par des hôtes très sympathiques, excellents dîner et petit-déjeuner, je recommande chaudement !

If the location (not far from Rambouillet) is convenient for you, you cannot do better. The mill's owners have all the fine qualities that previous reviewers have attributed to them -- charm, friendliness and a genuine interest in guests' comfort. The landscaped grounds are particularly pleasant. Breakfast is fresh and local. And though the mill is a B&B it also functions as a sort of very small hotel, in that you can arrange to have dinner there (much more reasonably than at La Terrasses in Clairefontaine, although that fairly high-end restaurant is also worth a visit). To repeat: You can't do better, and it's a relative bargain to boot.

Excellent séjour au moulin de Vilgris (trop court!)dans un très bel endroit calme et nature.
Un accueil chaleureux de Anne France et Alexis qui font tout pour nous satisfaire.
Tres bon diner maison et petit déjeuner, yaourt,confiture, compote maison !
Bravo ,bonne continuation.

Excellent séjour au Moulin de Vilgris avec un acceuil chaleureux d'Anne-France et Alexis. Au-delà du domaine d'exception, décoré avec goût et de la chambre au confort remarquable, Anne-France et Alexis nous ont fait nous sentir à la maison et nous ont fourni tous les services nécessaires suite à notre balade cycliste, nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir !
