A must-visit restaurant in Chatou, offering gourmet French cuisine with a terrace overlooking the Seine.
This establishment, an integral part of 19th-century history and the Impressionist movement, was created by Madame Fournaise on her arrival in Chatou. After several months of renovation, the Maison Fournaise reopened its doors in March 2022 to its former glory. Chefs Christian Le Squer and Hakima El Berrimi concoct fine dishes for a gourmet table. A selection: langoustine ravioli, lemon nage; grilled cockerel, seasonal vegetables; violet mille-feuille... Enjoy the terrace overlooking the Seine in fine weather.

Je dois surtout dire que nous n'avions pas réservé en ce dimanche midi et qu'on nous a fort aimablement trouvé une table, bien placée, devant une fenêtre, largement ouverte sur la Seine.
J'ai choisi un foie de veau cuit à coeur accompagné d'une purée maison accompagnée d'une sauce au Xérès suivi d'un fraisier garni d'une boule de glace sorbet aux framboises ???????? A noter le pain croustillant en accompagnement cuit sur place! Je recommande vivement ????
