Château de l'Evêché is a wine producer located in Pompignac. The estate, owned by the Guimberteau family for several generations, extends over 7 hectares of sun-drenched vineyards. The vines benefit from a rich, deep soil and ideal exposure, enabling the production of quality grapes for quality wines. The grape varieties are typical of the Bordeaux region, with a majority of Merlot, followed by Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec. Harvesting is semi-manual, or even manual for certain plots, and the wines are carefully blended. The estate's Bordeaux Supérieur has won several medals. Encouraging wine tourism, Château de l'Evêché welcomes visitors for tastings and walks in the vineyards.
