Château de l'Evêché is a wine producer located in Pompignac. The estate, run by the Guimberteau family for 10 generations, extends over 7 hectares of sun-drenched vineyards. The vines benefit from rich, deep soil and ideal exposure, which favors high-quality ripening. The grape varieties are typical of the Bordeaux region, with a majority of Merlot, followed by Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec. Harvesting is semi-manual or manual for certain plots. The estate produces Bordeaux Supérieur wines that have won several medals. Château de l'Evêché also encourages wine tourism, offering wine tastings and vineyard walks.
