Every year, the end-of-year festivities are the setting for some magical moments. While the communes of the Val Parisis conurbation vie with each other in their decorations, there's another moment that's eagerly awaited by children: the Aquatic Christmas. Reindeers may not be known for their love of water, but Santa Claus will be out in force to meet children in the region's swimming pools, handing out treats, holding photo workshops and making budding swimmers' eyes go wide.

LA NUIT DES CONSERVATOIRES

Events

While this is a national event, it is particularly well represented in the Val Parisis conurbation. La Nuit des Conservatoires, which takes place not only in Montigny, is also held in Herblay-sur-Seine. The principle is simple: students from these institutions showcase their talents over the course of an evening, totally free of charge. Here, a variety of concerts take place, ranging from jazz and rock to classical music.

THÉÂTRE DES ANGES

Theater Event

The pretty, narrow rue de la Petite Range, right in the heart of Herblay's old town center, is known for having one of the smallest theaters in the area! The aptly named Théâtre des Anges seats just 30. Intimacy and closeness to the artists are the order of the day, whether for singing or comedy, for example! Last but not least, classes can be taken here with Tatiana Kecojevic, and the venue can be privatized for your own events. There's no shortage of reasons to come here!

THÉÂTRE ROGER BARAT

Theater Event

This municipal theater is one of the finest in the area. Its vast and plentiful program means there's something for everyone to discover or rediscover. For the current 2023-2024 season, no fewer than 11 plays, 13 musical, visual, dance or circus shows and the appearance of 3 comedians (including Sandrine Sarroche and Fabrice Eboué) have punctuated the year. The venue also boasts a great bar open on performance nights. Last but not least, the on-site box office is open Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.
