A park with an arboretum featuring numerous rare species, including the giant sequoia, 35 m high and 5.6 m in diameter

It's well worth a visit: the arboretum in the Parc Cadet de Vaux boasts many rare species, including a giant sequoia (Sequoiadendron giganteum), 35 meters high and 5.6 meters in circumference, thought to have been a gift from the Marquis de La Fayette to Antoine-Alexis Cadet de Vaux. You'll also find a forty-ecus tree, Himalayan pines, Atlas and Lebanese cedars. The park is open daily.
