The Véxin is full of local products offering smart ways to eat smart, regional and tasty. The Avernoise Mill is an example of this: this family company produces in the first cold pressure of oils from seeds grown on its land. It is possible to visit the operation: pressing, settling and bottling. The programme, traditional rapeseed and sunflower oils, but also sesame, roasted sesame and even œillette, i. e. poppy seeds. The last-born, in September 2013, is cameline oil, commonly known as "bastard flax": rich in Omega 6 and 3, it was cultivated extensively in Roman times and gradually disappeared from the Middle Ages. You can find the products, many award-winning, in bottles of one litre, half a litre, or (our stroke!) spray, practice and trend. The house also offers its wheat flour, white or complete, stone stone stone.
