LIL'Ô
Flower production area conducting soil restoration and biodiversity studies with highly instructive tours
To reach Lil'Ô, you'll have to venture downstream to the tip of the Île-Saint-Denis: a few years ago, this was a landfill site for construction products, making the area - on paper - totally unsuitable for cultivation. And yet! The site, run by the Halage association (which also manages two other agricultural sites in Île-Saint-Denis and Paris), is now a flower-growing area, and is conducting experiments in soil restoration and biodiversity. Informative tours are organized on a regular basis.
