Bed and breakfast in a castle awarded by Best of Wine Tourism, good address for a stay in the heart of a wine estate.

When they met in 2011 on the benches of the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Sciences Agronomiques de Bordeaux, Julie and Mathieu did not know yet that they would become engineers-oenologists, husband and wife and owners of a wine estate under the Lussac-Saint-Emilion appellation. They also did not know that Château La Grande Clotte would be awarded a Best of Wine Tourism in the category of accommodation on the property for its two 40 m² guest rooms (for 2 people) between their house and the winery. A stay is a must!

On a visité le château pour un atelier d’assemblage. L’endroit est sympathique et plein d’énergie. Les propriétaires sont tres chaleureux et tres gentils. L’atelier est merveilleusement bien passé. L’histoire portée par les propriétaires et leur vision est merveilleuse et à découvrir. Bravo et bon courage et on sera sûrement de retour . Ce n’est pas juste un chateau c’est toute une philosophie à découvrir. On recommande

Cozy place, perfect for a getaway when you want to be surrounded by vineyards, with no traffic noise. The wine was really good and the breakfast as well. They also offered a really well planned tour on electrical bikes, taking you through the area, to local shops, where you could pick up pick up different foods for a picnic. Will definitely visit again.
