Guest houses for a stay out of time with bubbling bath near Saint Emilion
Nathalie and David are responsible for the restoration of this place full of history. They welcome, advise and share with visitors their love for this beautiful 19th century mansion in the heart of one of the most prestigious wine regions. The heated swimming pool is open from May to September, but the whirlpool bath is accessible all year round. In this timeless environment, the rooms are called Magnum, Impériale, Marie Jeanne (2 adults + 1 child) and Balthazar. La Table du Pavillon is a private table d'hôtes.

The hotel looks even better in real life than on photos. It's a beautifully restored historical building with a huge common area and a nice backyard.
It really felt like home (in a good way) because the hotel is owned and managed by a lovely couple who also live there with their super friendly cats and dogs.
The rooms are beautifully decorated, super spacious and sparkling clean. The breakfast was delicious and made of great quality ingredients. We were nicely surprised to see the really expensive (we know that for sure) artisanal jams, juices etc. So they definitely don't save money on feeding their guests.
Also, I forgot my sweater there, and Nathalie was really kind to send it back to me. Thank you so much once again and hope to be back soon!

It is rare that a website UNDESTATES how attractive a lodging will be, but that is the case with Millesimes. The ground floor interior space is spacious and delightful, with large areas for relaxing or reading and an extremely pleasant area for taking your breakfast indoors. The back terrace opens to a stunning backyard, complete with pool and landscaped gardens. The guestroom was large and comfortable. Nathalie and David are wonderful hosts, filled with great suggestions for how to explore the area. The breakfast was abundant and delicious and our restaurant meal at the Pavillon (starring a smoked duck main course) prepared by David was fit for a king. Truly a gem of a place and worth a detour, (though to be sure, the little town of Lussac itself is unremarkable).
