Un havre de paix. Toujours un immense plaisir de s'y promener le matin quand il n'y a personne, juste les écureuils roux, héron, oies, canards ou cygnes....
La saison des azalées et rhododendrons est à ne pas manquer.

J'adore le jardin anglais. C'est le rare point de verdure et de fraicheur de Fontainebleau. Qu'elle ne fut pas ma déception et celle de ma fille de 5 ans que durant tout l'été cela sera payant pour voir une exposition. Nous allons être en canicule cet été et pas de possibilité de se rafraîchir en pleine ville. L'exposition aurait pu être faite après septembre jusqu'au salon du chocolat et cela aurait eu tout son sens mais pas sur les étés qui deviennent caniculaires.

Beau jardin avec de belles plantes, habituellement accessible gratuitement. Cette année l'exposition d'art contemporain le fait devenir payant (4€...). De mai a septembre... Donc il n'est plus visitable librement. Et deviendra sans doute payant a l'avenir.... Dommage...
On ne peut plus faire le tour de l'étang...on ne peut plus aller s'asseoir dans l'herbe... On ne peut plus aller voir la fontaine Bléau.
Billet a prendre au même guichet que pour le château.
