The Hermitage Park, located on a former industrial wasteland, is classified as a natural area of ecological, floristic and faunistic interest. Walkers will discover paths offering a change of scenery. From the belvedere, one can admire the panoramic view of the Garonne and the Pont d'Aquitaine. One is also pleasantly surprised by the occupants of the Iris urban farm, where goats, donkeys and ponies graze peacefully, to the delight of children.

Une belle balade possible dans ce parc de Lormont très bien aménagé. On y trouve notamment un des plus beaux belvédères, à mon avis, pour admirer le fleuve et le Port de la Lune. M'a cependant exaspéré un panneau gravé, près du lac, voulant rendre hommage à Baudelaire et ajoutant un "e" entre le "a" et le "u" de son nom, ce qui n'aurait vraiment pas plu à ce poète exigeant qui ne supportait pas l'à-peu-près. Admirons donc le paysage...
