This gourmet saga began here in 1761, when Pierre-Jean Bernard opened a store. His companion Marie-Adélaïde made it prosper and gentrified what was then a grocery store, christened "À la mère de famille" in 1810, in reference to the mother of the family. The fashionable grocery specialized in confectionery from 1856. In 1984, the storefront was listed as a Monument Historique: green with gold lettering, it's splendid. Here, tradition lives on: chocolates, ice creams and confectionery continue to delight connoisseurs.

店員さんは優しく、素敵なチョコレートの提案を次々にしてくださり、納得の上で購入ができました。拙い英語で変な質問をしてしまったのですが、嫌な顔をすることなく、丁寧に答えてくださいました。接客のスペシャリストです。
一粒ずつ買ったチョコレートはどれも美味しかったです（3つで4ユーロ程度でした）。大切な祖母へ贈るお土産も買えて安心しました（11ユーロ/箱のチョコレートがありました）。
可能であればまたパリの滞在中に伺おうと思いますし、パリでのチョコレートの購入を検討されている方にぜひお勧めいたします。
