Éric Duchaussoy, roaster and field man has been at the head of this bicentenary institution since 1995. Unavoidable, Cafés Verlet is located here since the early twentieth century and the coffee is roasted there in a traditional manner and the choice of trading partners is fair and ecological. Today, the store offers a stunning choice: coffees from America, Africa, Burma, Australia etc., Grand Cru from the Blue Mountain of Jamaica - the world's most expensive coffee -, homemade mixtures... The Verlet house also has a huge selection of teas, more than a hundred. The lounges on the ground floor and the first floor allow you to enjoy yourself in a very cosy atmosphere.

Avons pris entre amis en déjeuner chez Verlet. Excellente adresse pour les plats du jour (quiche sans gluten et salade ce jour là) et carte salée et sucrée ! Bonnes pâtisseries, nos éclairs étaient plaisants.

Nous avons passé un très bon moment dans ce café. L'ambiance y est agréable et retro.
Les prix sont dans une moyenne supérieure.

Everything here is excellent! As soon as you enter the café, you can feel the authentic French spirit. The coffee is delicious, and the baguette with butter and jam is just perfect. The service is fast and professional, and the toilet is new and very clean. The prices are reasonable. All in all, I truly recommend this café!
