A club of gay and lesbian atvs founded in 1995 with 150 members, beginners or confirmés, Les Derailleur operates throughout France. Because there are three branches in the province, Nimes, Toulouse, Nantes-Tours, which encourages exchanges and meetings far from the capital. Each year, tours of one to two weeks are organised, especially in the Alps, the Massif Central or the Aquitaine region. Sometimes even abroad. In the Paris region, hiking takes place every weekend (30 km to 50 km) in the francilienne countryside. Hikes are classified in 3 levels (pignons). The association organizes relaxation, outings at the club restaurant, the club's large annual dinner (late January) and a cross-country skiing week in February/March.
The club is gay, claiming it, but does not practice any exclusion: so, just as everyone respects each other, Derailleur welcome girls - fewer - from boys, gays and dads.
