Wine Cellar Wine House

It seems logical to have implanted a vineyard on the ancient wine houses of the capital, once the largest market in the world of wine and spirits, disappeared in the 1970 s. The planting of vineyards took part in the project to rehabilitate this immense land on the banks of the Seine. Opened in 1996, this vineyard of white Sauvignon and Chardonnay occupies a surface of 660 m 2 for a total of 350 feet. Production corresponds to an average of 300 bottles per year.

The initial idea was appealing: to create a space where an art gallery and a wine cellar coexist. In 2018, this project has finally refocused on the wine cellar, which also offers small restaurants. With success apparently, given the number of people seated when we passed in front of beautiful skittles accompanied by charcuterie, cheeses ... More than the head of gondola, Ici-Même favors the unknown nuggets, often produced in biodynamics. And at contained prices to please yourself more often. Also on sale are delicatessen products (terrines...).
