Read moreYoung and old alike have been looking forward to this event for decades! In fact, the Foire du Trône is nothing new. It used to be called the Gingerbread Fair. Today, this huge funfair is located on the Pelouse de Reuilly in the 12th arrondissement, on the edge of the Bois de Boulogne. It features over 350 attractions on a 10-hectare site, and lasts for around two months. The best way to get there is by public transport, as parking in the area is not easy.

Perched above the traffic and the hubbub of the city, it would almost give you the impression of being in the countryside! Its 4.5 kilometres were built on the rails of a former railway line, which stopped traffic in 1969. From the Opéra Bastille, it takes you to the Porte dorée and the Bois de Vincennes, via the jardin de Reuilly, the viaduc des Arts and the allée Vivaldi. All you have to do is choose your option: Sunday walk or daily jogging?

For three days, glove makers from Millau, cutlers from Laguiole, cosmetic manufacturers, and food producers (butchers, bakers, cheese makers, wine makers...) are all there. A convivial and gourmet gathering that attracts more than 50,000 visitors at each edition.

Read moreA real playground, the Bois de Vincennes has everything to celebrate the sportsmen confirmed as grass joggers, for all tastes and levels. In addition to its 3 km cycle cycle, its cavalier track and its outdoor football and rugby fields, the park has two health courses. According to your mood and shape that day, therefore choose for the short version (its 1400 meters and its 14 gear usually spoil the beginners), or for the long version, more intense with its 2400 meters and 18 gear. SALON MOTO LÉGENDE
Read moreThe Parc Floral de Paris, in the Bois de Vincennes, has been hosting the Salon Moto Légende since 1998. This event is dedicated to vintage motorcycles. It features vintage machines, a trade fair, professionals, clubs and museums. In all, 400 exhibitors and 500 motorcycles retrace over a century of motorcycle history on the 12,000 m² show floor. Events and prize-giving ceremonies are also organized during this not-to-be-missed event, which brings together two-wheeled and vintage enthusiasts.
