Conceived by brothers Bradley and Logan Lafond, Ernest & Valentin has been a great success. The brand now boasts several outlets in and around Paris, including one on rue de Charenton. On the display shelves, it's a festival: here, the ingredients used are carefully sourced, the preparation and baking processes strictly adhered to, and the viennoiseries and pastries are indeed beyond reproach. At lunchtime, a snack offer completes the picture. An absolute must.

Après 20 minutes d'attente ( ce qui est courant du fait de la forte fréquentation le dimanche à 10h45), on m'annonce qu'il faut attendre 20minutes pour avoir des baguettes. Bizarre sur les 10 clients devant moi seules 2 baguettes vendues. Pourquoi un tel temps d'attente vu qu'il semblait qu'il y en avait quasiment plus depuis un moment ?Il semblerait que les boulangers n'aient pas entendu ce que les vendeuses leur disaient à cause de leur musique. Dommage les Valentine étaient trop cuite pour mon goût.
