This neo-classical theatre bears the name of a th-century poet, whose statue can be seen in the hall. At the beginning of the th century, the place is a ballroom built by the architects Pierre and Louis Guidetti. The space will be built in theatre only in 1990, when the last theatre in the city closed its doors. Previously, there was a police station, a library and a conservatory of music. The site today welcomes the public for various shows: this year, weekends with jazz sounds and countless theatrical performances are on the agenda.

Cinema peu cher et sans ou peu de pub. Par contre le confort est -très- spartiate. On vient ici pour regarder un film, pas pour être bien assis. Dommage.
