Chez Hortense is an unmissable institution in Le Ferret. The bucolic setting, with its feet in the water... it's the ideal place to eat, facing the Dune du Pilat (not forgetting the lovely covered terrace!). Here, the dishes are simple but delicious. Fresh fish from the day's catch is always perfectly cooked, and the welcome is impeccable. Discover the special recipe for mussels with ham for which the restaurant is famous, spiced up to perfection with sliced bread and a little family secret. We'll be back for more!

Wir wollten Ende August eine Reservierung für Abends vor Ort anfragen. Mussten fast 5 Min im Restaurant warten, bis sich jemand bemüht hat mit uns zu sprechen. Antwort: Alles voll. Bei der Frage nach einer Alternative ist er schon wieder ans Telefon gegangen. Sehr herablassend und überhaupt nicht kundenfreundlich… schade!
