Lighthouse with a lighthouse museum and 108 steps leading to an orientation table with a beautiful view of the estuary
At the foot of the Grave lighthouse, the museum is divided into 5 rooms: the Cordouan lighthouse; Gironde lighthouses; the equipment used by the Lighthouses and Beacons service; and a 3D animation of the Cordouan lighthouse from 1611 to the present day. The building's 108 steps lead up to an orientation table offering an impressive panoramic view of the estuary. In the garden, a presentation of the Matelier launch that manned the Cordouan lighthouse from 1962 to 2006.
