One of the first châteaux on the Médoc wine route, its wines are aged in French oak barrels for nearly 18 months
One of the first châteaux on the Médoc wine route, this family-run estate since 1896 boasts white 18th-century facades, views over the vineyards and a very special old wine storehouse. Rebuilt in the 15th century, the latter is listed as a historic monument for its basement and impressive double vaults. Dame Blanche, the château's dry white wine, takes its name from a regional legend about a Moorish woman married to a young Medoc soldier returning from the Crusades. Discover this and more on a themed tour!
