Victor Hugo Museum, presenting photographs, drawings, letters, objects and furniture testifying to his history.

In Villequier, this attractive museum is housed in the Maison Vacquerie, named after a great family of shipowners from Le Havre, and honors the great French writer to whom it was linked. Here, you'll discover photographs, drawings, letters, objects and furniture bearing witness to his life as a father and husband, and to his family history. For it was here that Léopoldine Hugo and her husband Charles Vacquerie drowned on September 4, 1843. Temporary exhibitions are also on view throughout the year. The museum also includes a gift store.
