STATE-OWNED FORESTS OF THE "TRAIT-MAULEVRIER" AND "BROTONNE" FORESTS
Read moreThese two forests are part of the Regional Natural Park of the Seine Boucles and are crossed by numerous equestrian trails, cycle paths and walking paths. All are accessible to families. The more experienced hikers can start the GR 2, which goes from St Pierre-de-Manneville to Le Havre and crosses these forests along the way. This multi-kilometer trail allows you to enjoy majestic beech and remarkable trees, taking advantage of picturesque villages such as Saint-Wandrille, Caudebec-en-Caux and Jumièges. In the shadow of the pine trees and sessile oak trees, the walkers discover the forest of the Trait-Maulévrier, which covers 3,000 hectares. Located on the right bank of the river, the diversity of its landforms makes it a forest highly appreciated by walkers. Left bank is the Broton forest, less rugged than its neighbor, which awaits you with its 6,700 hectares.
NOTRE-DAME CHURCH IN CAUDEBEC-EN-CAUX
Read moreKing Henry IV held her for the most beautiful chapel of his kingdom. It is true that she is gracious and hyundai that Notre-Dame de Caudebec-en-Caux, in this flamboyant Gothic style tinged with Renaissance graces, which adds to its plume. Mutilated by the wars of religion and the Second World War, it retains despite its successive défigurations, a passage from the Magnificat, carved in Gothic letters under its roof, entire families of the small people carved in the stone of its western portal, the baptismal fonts of superb carved wood, and stained windows of the exceptional th and th centuries. This is why we will inevitably stop between Rouen and Le Havre, in Caudebec, Caux, for this stone lace, which is skeleton by the madness of men. For this beauty there, under this sky that has so much been prayed and so wonderfully threw stone arrows towards the impenetrable clouds of the great authorising officer.
