It is a pastry made from flour, eggs, milk, vanilla and rum... at first glance, nothing exceptional, would you say? Set up along Sautel Boulevard, near the ring road, the shop perpetuates a unique know-how that makes these caramelized cupcakes particularly delicious. Canelés Gros at 70 centimes each, Canelés Lunch at 50 centimes or Canelés Bouchée at 40 centimes: the choice depends on your appetite and especially on your greed! You can even let yourself be tempted by other specialities such as tourtières, caramels with Canelés and the brand new product: the Bordeaux Canelés spread! J'ai été accueilli avec le sourire par les deux vendeurs, qui ont répondu à mes questions. La serveuse a également pris les temps de me conseiller sur les tartinades et autres pots en vente sur le site (très bonne initiative).
Je suis partie avec plus de gourmandises que prévu.
Mais après 1 jour j'ai goûté les cannelés : très très bon moi qui ne suis pas fan d'habitude.
J'ai aussi pris un gâteau bordelais: effectivement je le trouve aussi un peu trop sucré.
Mais valeur sûre les cannelés en petit ou moyen format. À goûter absolument lors d'un passage à Bordeaux
Les cannelés : croustillants dehors, pâteux à l'intérieur.
Bref, je vais attendre un peu avant de revenir, à moins qu'ils aient fermé entre temps...
C'est autre chose que les cannelés du commerce.
