Château became a meeting place for the arts, giving rise to the Saint-Pierre-de-Varengeville contemporary art center.
Housed in a beautiful 19th-century building, this art center offers 4 exhibitions a year. The 500 m² gallery welcomes emerging and established artists and showcases today's creativity: photography, sculpture, painting, digital art... Access is free and open to all, amateurs and connoisseurs alike. In the 6-hectare park, 17 monumental works stand alongside a variety of gardens. Activities, guided tours and children's workshops complete the offer.

Bicycle reception. Depending on exhibition dates, free admission (except on public holidays). Open Wednesday to Friday, 1pm to 7pm; weekends, 10am to 7pm. Park open daily from 8 am to 7 pm. Closed on public holidays. Free admission. Tourism & Handicap label. Children welcome. Guided tours. Bike parking.
Owner's Message
It was rebuilt on the old foundations after extensive work lasting until the end of 1898, and Gaston Le Breton, an enlightened collector and generous patron of the arts, installed his beloved collections here.
The château soon became a meeting place for the art world. Painters, sculptors and composers, including Camille Saint-Saëns, stayed here.
The façade bears witness to this period, and reads "Omnia pro arte", "Everything for art". Today, after several months of renovation, the château has given birth to the Centre d'art contemporain de Saint-Pierre-de-Varengeville.
As the seasons change, you'll be able to stroll through the 6-hectare park dedicated to showcasing sculptures and plants: arboretum, Japanese garden, rose garden..., discover the 400 m2 gallery of temporary exhibitions and the children's workshops that will take place over time.

Cela fait plusieurs fois que j'y flâne. En général les expos se trouvent dans le château, mais parfois elles se mêlent aussi aux splendeurs du parc.
Et quel parc ! On peut y courir tranquillement, s'y reposer, profiter du calme d'un jardin japonais, découvrir des espèces végétales et fleurs tout en profitant des oeuvres d'artistes, qui font partie intégrante du parc.
