The oldest library in Rouen, in a former building, the "BM" as called by the students, is a true place of memory that has the second collection of ancient books in France. There are often rare heritage and regional documents, encyclopedias, and books that are only known to enthusiasts, scholars, and researchers (these collections are accessible only with specific prior authorisation). Unlike other libraries in the network, here you can’t borrow anything, but access to the workroom is free.
