Restaurant offering a menu of dishes that combine Japan and Peru in Rouen.
Here, it is the Nikkei cuisine that is honoured: raw fish combined with Peruvian spices. But how did Japan and Peru come to be associated on the plates? Well, at the end of the 19th century, thousands of Japanese migrated to South America and integrated Peruvian products into their recipes. The result is frankly successful. On the menu: ceviche of tuna, sea bass or sea bream, a vegetarian plate, rice in the Peruvian way... A voluntarily restricted menu to favour the freshness of the products.

Une curiosité, cette criolisation des cuisines péruvienne et japonaise, et une réussite ici ! Le local est petit et bien décoré : sans doute faut-il penser à réserver. Ici on vous accueille bien et le service est efficace sans être intrusif. Côté plats, c'est dans l'ensemble très goûteux et appréciable, confectionné avec des produits frais. Compter 18€, le plat plus l'accompagnement : ce n'est pas forcément donné, mais on en a largement pour son argent. La carte change au gré des saisons. Une bonne expérience !!
