This former spinning mill (which already replaced an old paper mill) was built in 1822. It is a testimony to the dynamism of the cotton industry in the Cailly Valley in the 19th century. Thanks to an extraordinary restoration, the site has regained all its former splendour. During the visit, it is a former member of the rope factory who will share his passion with you, explaining how it works and showing you around the industrial museum, with machines in operation. Children and adults will find whatever they want by discovering this place that revives an entire era, that of the industrial age... A very informative visit.

Un superbe accueil, superbe visite également. La découverte de ce lieu chargé d’histoire a plu à toute notre petite famille !
Tout est aménagé de manière pédagogique, l’exposition au deuxième étage est vraiment très bien expliquée et adaptée !
