Château de Martainville was built in 1485 for Jacques Le Pelletier. Since 1965, the museum has housed an exceptional collection of Norman objects, taking visitors on a fabulous journey through the history of everyday life. You’ll see the evolution of styles from the 15th to the 19th century, with furniture and clothing linked to the habits and customs of the different "countries". Norman craftsmanship and lifestyles take centre stage. The site organises temporary exhibitions and events.

Superbe château du 15ème siècle, richement décoré et meublé, on traverse la vie de ce château avec les arts normands suivant différentes périodes. Sur 3 étages avec escalier un peu raide. Audioguide pour visite individuelle. En sortant du château, d'autres bâtiments sont à voir dehors et son jardin. Parking à l'extérieur du château, sauf pmr, place à l'intérieur du site. Wc disponible et boutiques d'objets sur place.
