MAISON DE L’ADOLESCENT

The Maison de l'Adolescent du Havre, opened in May 1999, was a first in France. Located in the city centre, it welcomes and takes care of young people in distress and suffering from 13 to 20 years of age, from the Havre to the region. Social assistant, dietician, educator, gynecologist, nurse, paediatrician, psychiatrists, psychologists and psychotherapist form an effective team. The Bavarian example has been followed elsewhere in France.
