Chapel and ship’s landmark, supposedly built by Robert the Magnificent, a shipwreck survivor, with ex-votos on the walls.
A visit to the Notre-Dame-du-Salut chapel is a must to get to know the city. According to legend, Robert the Magnificent built it after being saved from a shipwreck. To get there, take the "Sente aux Matelots" path from the port and go to the top of the cliff. The chapel is the guardian of the memory of the men who perished at sea: you will discover many ex-votos on the walls but also models of ships. It still serves as a landmark for ships at sea.

Rien de mieux que de se rendre à cette chapelle des marins qu'en empruntant la sente des matelots comme au temps des marins. Lieu à visiter à tout prix, avec une vue magnifique sur la ville et la mer, avec une vue jusqu'à Yport. Chapelle très bien conservée et lieu mythique pour chaque marin.

Chapelle de marins à visiter absolument lors de votre séjour à Fécamp. Vue imprenable à côté. On peut y monter à pied par la sente aux matelos. Remarquable ex votos dans la chapelle.
