Situated four kilometers from supervised beaches, the Barreyre ponds open their four freshwater basins to all those wishing to discover fishing. Whether you're on your own or with the family, for pleasure or for competition, you can spend a relaxing moment teasing gudgeon or any of the dozens of other species found in the ponds (carp, black-bass, sturgeon and whitefish, among others). All fishing techniques are available. The strong point of the Barreyre ponds is the "no kill" policy, which means that all catches are returned to the water.
